La Viñenale 2026The Ricard Viñes project continues in September 2026 with the launch of La Viñenale, the new festival linked to the Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition.
La Viñenale was created to give continuity to the Competition also in the years when the competition itself does not take place, bringing prize-winning pianists from previous editions back to Lleida and developing new artistic projects around them.
The first edition will bring together prize-winning pianists, musicians from Lleida, emerging talent and young students in a programme combining concerts, heritage, contemporary creation, improvisation, and educational and participatory activities.
From 17 to 24 September 2026, different venues across Lleida will host a week of music conceived to keep the legacy of Ricard Viñes alive while also projecting it into the present and the future.
