The Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition is made possible thanks to the dedication of a team committed to music and artistic excellence. This organisation works to ensure that each edition of the competition becomes a unique experience for the participants and a cultural event of reference for the city of Lleida.

THE ORGANISATION OF THE COMPETITION

The Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition is organised by a committed team, composed of:

  • Artistic Direction: Led by renowned conductor and pianist Néstor Bayona, ensuring the quality and artistic excellence of the competition.

  • Competition Coordinator: Responsible for the logistics and smooth running of all phases of the event.

  • Public Relations Manager: In charge of promoting the competition and enhancing its visibility nationally and internationally.

  • Institutional Support: The City Council of Lleida, the Municipal Conservatory, and the Teatre de la Llotja Public Foundation are the pillars that make this event possible.

  • Volunteers, Assistants, and Interns: A key group for the competition’s success, including students, professionals in training, and music enthusiasts who contribute to organisational tasks, participant reception, and event support.

The competition takes place mainly at the Auditori Enric Granados, a landmark in Lleida known for its facilities and acoustic quality.
