The Grand Final

The Grand Final of the 26th edition of the Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition was held on 28 June 2025 at the Auditori Municipal Enric Granados in Lleida.

The three finalists performed with the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, conducted by Néstor Bayona, in an evening featuring three major works from the concerto repertoire:

• Saya Ota performed Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
• Yuanfan Yang performed Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11 by Frédéric Chopin.
• Karina Tseng performed Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18 by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

The gala brought together contestants, jury members, institutions, collaborators and music lovers in an evening of particular significance for both the Competition and the city of Lleida.
